Yamaha is excited to announce the 2024 WaveRunner lineup which sees more power, more colour and more choice than ever before.
Yamaha WaveRunners continue to lead the pack when it comes to big displacement marine engines, with the release of the industry’s first 1.9 Litre naturally aspirated high output engine – delivering quicker and smoother acceleration and higher top-end speed, in models across the FX, GP and VX range.
Whatever your style, colour and riding preferences, the 2024 WaveRunner line-up gives you the choice of 15 WaveRunner models covering everything from racing, towing, fishing, touring, thrill seeking and more.
New 1.9 Litre Naturally Aspirated HO Engine
A new 1898cc, four-stroke, four-cylinder, 16-valve High Output marine engine replaces the Yamaha 1.8L High Output motor that previously powered the FX Cruiser HO, FX HO, GP1800R HO, and VX Cruiser HO models.
This more powerful engine provides quicker and smoother acceleration and higher top-end speed. This is achieved through the engine's increased displacement, optimized intake, and exhaust paths, and a 10-percent larger throttle body for more power and torque.
This new engine is paired with a new top loader intake grate on the FX HO and VX HO models for improved pickup and acceleration.

Delivering a premium riding experience, Yamaha’s FX WaveRunners combine big horsepower, luxury finishes and the latest technology in the ultimate personal watercraft package.
2024 sees the FX Cruiser HO and FX HO models upgraded with the new 1.9 Litre naturally aspirated high output engine, a new intake grate for improved Jet pump efficiency and acceleration, and the larger 7-inch Connext touchscreen, previously only available on the FX SVHO models.
The home screen layout has also been refreshed across all FX models, delivering a cleaner look and improved visibility, while the Drive Control options have been expanded to now offer Economy, Towing, Performance, Comfort and Custom setting options, for an improved riding experience.

The VX Series offers an affordable, feature-rich and versatile package for those that appreciate reliability, quality and performance, without the luxury price tag.
In 2024 the VX Cruiser HO packs even more punch, incorporating the new 1.9 Litre big horsepower engine and a new intake grate for improved acceleration and top-end speed.
To round out the VX range, you also have the option of the VX Cruiser with speakers and VX Deluxe models, offering the award winning TR-1 1049cc high output engine, balancing power and economy.

The former 1.8 Litre GP1800R HO receives the new, more powerful, 1.9 Litre naturally aspirated high output engine and is now known as the GP 19HO. The all-conquering GP1800R – SVHO has also been rebadged as the GP SVHO and once again comes in two race-ready colour options.
